What we believe
The Bible
We believe that all scripture (Old and New Testaments) is given by divine inspiration and is the infallible, inerrant Word of God without contradiction, God´s full counsel and revelation of His purpose and plan for man´s salvation and the ultimate authority for the Christian life and faith.
God
There is One God. The infinite Creator of all things, Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent Who reveals Himself in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is God´s only begotten Son, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. True God, true man, the Lamb of God without blemish, without spot, died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, went down into death and hell, bodily rose up from the grave, ascended into heaven, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, became our eternal High Priest and Advocate and will return to judge the quick and the dead.
The Holy Ghost
The Holy Spirit is the Comforter, the Spirit of Truth. His ministry is to glorify the LORD Jesus Christ and reprove the world of sin, righteousness and of judgment. He will lead and guide, instruct and empower the believer into godly living and service. Only by the power of the Holy Ghost can the sinners’ hearts be regenerated, and salvation and spiritual life be obtained and retained.
Salvation
Man is born in sin therefore in need for a saviour. By faith only in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection can forgiveness and cleansing of sins be obtained and justification is provided. Salvation is a gift and all who receive Jesus Christ and believe in His Name are born again of the Holy Spirit to become the children of God.
Baptism of the Holy Ghost
The baptism of Holy Ghost, is a gift received by faith, with a evidence of speaking in other tongues and is followed by the sinners’ repentance from sin. The Holy Spirit then can operate in various gifts through the believer for the edification and exhortation of the body of Christ.
Water Baptism
The true Biblical water baptism is by immersion, in the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ and comes after accepting Jesus Christ as a personal Saviour. It is a testimony of death to sin, a burial into Christ´s death and resurrection into the new life.
Communion
The Lord´s supper is a memorial set forth in a sacred and symbolic manner, in remembrance of the Lord´s death, only believers should share in it.
The Church
The Church is the body of Christ on earth, fitly joined together and made up of all those who by faith have been saved and regenerated by the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ being the Head and the Chief Cornerstone.
Future Events
There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead, of the believer to his eternal abode of everlasting joy and glory with the Jesus Christ, but for the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting punishment.
